Shoulder Pain
-
Shoulder pain can begin abruptly or over time. It’s usually accompanied by pain with overhead activity or clicking/popping sensation. Symptoms can be silent but often include a decreased range of motion, pain, and discomfort when lifting your arm.
-
Shoulder pain might be from a single incident or injury or it can happen over time. Athletes are often affected when there’s a throwing motion involved. Other times, demanding physical jobs with repetitive lifting or overhead movement can increase shoulder discomfort. Arthritis can also contribute to shoulder pain.

Our chiropractors specialize in shoulder manipulation and give you at home exercises to help strengthen your shoulder, including the rotator cuff capsule. Other suggestions include: avoid sleeping on the affected side and restrict overhead lifting. Performing your home exercises can dramatically speed your recovery.
